Who Am I?

Hi! I'm Shashank. I'm a B.Tech Computer Science Student at Lovely Professional University. There are lot of things that interests me, like Programming, Sports, etc. At this stage of my life I wants to learn a lot and work in good companies, For me, everything I do, is an opportunity to learn. I got interested in Computers when I was in 5th standard and saw computer for the 1st time The love for computers increased when I was in 8th standard, when I coded for first time, ofcourse, in HTML.
Apart from University courses I prefer to learn by myself a lot in the Internet; by Blogs, Articles, MOOCs, etc. I also had a taste of Machine Learning, Deep Neural Networks, and explored this field a lot. Now I'm upto Software Development, Web development, etc.

I had thought of doing business when I was 12 years old. My family background is also related to Business. I have an urge to create my own startup some day, but at first I wants to learn a lot... by doing various jobs and to do something significant. I'm usually not hardworking, but during deadlines or in need, I can go to any extent for work, for several days or months may be. I think I also have some leadership skills. I love solving Data Structures and Algorithms problems in Hackerrank and LeetCode

Apart from these technical stuffs I love playing Cricket, Badminton, Chess. Facts about Astronomy and Space Sciences amazes me a lot. I love Paintings and have done a lot in my past days, also I'm a Bibliophile.

Some technical Books I have read or reading: Cracking the Coding Interview, Algorithm Design Manual-Steven Skiena, Two Scoops of Django, Django 2 by Example, Effective Python,The Linux Command Line, etc.
